We are driven by

Community, Creativity, Discovery and an Open Mind

Driven by their love for exploring local markets, their fascination with the talent of hand-crafters throughout the Bay and the identified need for a one-stop-shop for locating them, the Market Mafia brain child was born between two best friends.  The Market Mafia has become a passion project providing a creative outlet and opportunity to get involved in our community.

Lady Bosses

Tara is a Hoosier and proud St Petian where she lives with her husband Shawn and fur babe Gypsy. By day Tara is the Market Administrator with Markets for Makers. She writes a column for Green Bench Monthly called Movers & Makers about the St. Pete market scene, upcoming events and ways to support small. She enjoys using market finds to decorate her bungalow and chasing markets with brewery stops to find hotspots for Coffee to Cocktails blogs. When she’s not hitting markets, Tara enjoys: spending time with her parents, catching sporting events, paddle boarding, practicing yoga, exploring bookstores, jamming out or swinging in her hammock.

Originally from New Orleans, Kim is a Big Easy transplant to the Tampa Bay area and has resided in Clearwater for the past six years with her husband Tito and fur baby, Deuce. When not being a lady boss Mafia style, she works by day in the commercial real estate industry. In addition to being a market enthusiast, Kim adores beaching for hours on end, reading, paddle boarding, live music, adventuring with her amazing friends, exploring craft breweries, singing in the car, traveling and photography. Oh and she loves meeting new souls, so if you see her out be sure to say hey!
